HiTEC® 9450
Application
HiTEC® 9450 engine oil additive is specially designed for use, in catalyst compatible oils, in light duty vehicles fitted with after-treatment systems, gasoline catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter technology. With a growing car parc now outside of its DPF warranty, consumers want a cost-effective option for their older car, whilst still protecting their DPF. In 2014, roughly 1/3 of all cars required Diesel Particle Filters (see graph 1). Most European Markets and European-influenced markets are dominated by a growing Independent Workshops channel. Older vehicles are mostly serviced in Independent Workshops (graph 2) - as the vehicle value drops, they provide value servicing. HiTEC® 9450 offers a cost-effective solution for the needs of the Independent Workshop.

The recommended treat-rate for HiTEC® 9450 is 12.40% wt for ACEAC3/C2-2012, API SN and MB229.31
