We are excited to announce that Afton Chemical is presenting at the 26th NLGI Lubricating Grease Conference in India, which will take place from 22-24 February 2024 at the JW Marriott in Kolkata. This conference will focus on the overarching theme of ‘Sustainable Grease Solutions’.

Anand Kumar, Customer Technical Support Manager from Afton Chemical, will present ‘The identification and implementation of an alternative promoter for a patented Calcium Sulphonate Grease process’.

About the event 

The India Chapter of NLGI was formed in 1997 and has been actively serving the Indian grease industry ever since. They offer educational courses, conduct tests, organize conferences, and publish the journal ‘Greasetech India’. With members from major petroleum industries, both public and private, their goal is to provide a platform for discussion and sharing among industry professionals.

NLGI-IC has achieved significant milestones, including 25 conferences, 24 education courses, 6 tests, and over 100 issues of their journal. Their 2023 conference was attended by over 450 delegates, including notable figures from the industry and government. The upcoming 26th conference will focus on "Sustainable Grease Solutions" and is expected to attract delegates from around the world.
