HEV Engine Lubrication Challenges

Afton Chemical recently participated in the 14th "Meet the Market Conference" organized by Lubes em Foco Magazine in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As the largest lubricants conference in Brazil and South America, it attracted significant international attendance. The event brought together various companies, including oil marketers, suppliers, and industry bodies. This year's edition was the largest, with over 500 attendees daily. 

Afton had the opportunity to deliver a presentation on Engine Oils for hybrid vehicles. Gregorio Garrido, Latin America Marketing Manager, shared Afton's insights into the challenges related to engine lubrication for these vehicles. Hybrids represent a strategically growing segment in many regions, including Brazil, and Afton is actively promoting a hybrid booster for our ILSAC GF-6 and ILSAC GF-7 technologies.
