Application
HiTEC®4589 is a wax anti-settling fuel additive formulated to give optimum performance in middle distillates such as diesel fuel and heating oil and is designed to reduce the Cold Filter Plugging Point and pour point of treated fuels. This product also contains a wax Anti-settling component which gives greater wax crystal size reduction and less wax agglomeration leading to improved low temperature operability. HiTEC®4589 has been developed to improve the low temperature properties of narrow boiling point distillates.

Shelf Life: 24 months at ambient temperature
HiTEC®4589 should be stored at a temperature of 40-50˚C. HiTEC®4589 should be blended with the fuel at a temperature >10˚C above the cloud point of the fuel.
