Key Performance Benefits

HiTEC® 559 additive is a highly efficient ashless corrosion inhibitor. It finds application in a wide range of industrial and marine lubricants, particularly in hydraulic, compressor, circulating and steam turbine oils. It can also be used effectively in corrosion preventatives and greases.

Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage for HiTEC® 559 additive is 0.03% to 0.5% wt., depending on application and base stock quality, to meet the requirements of IP 135/ASTM D665 tests, procedure A and B, and other corrosion tests. Please contact your Afton Chemical representative for specific recommendations.
