Afton Chemical GDI presentation at CGSB meeting

We are pleased to share a recent presentation given at the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) meeting on November 16th on Ottawa, Canada. 

Alex Kulinowski, Afton Senior Fuels OEM Advisor, discussed the need for gasoline deposit control additives with enhanced performance in GDI engines, and the need for a standard test for demonstrating this performance. Key topics and takeaways included:

• Despite the push for electrification, liquid fuels will still be used for many years.
• GDI technology enables significant reduction in fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Fuel additives help control deposits in GDI engines to maintain their emissions control performance.
